Douglas Rausch is the founder and president of Aurora CyberSecurity Consultants, Inc., a veteran owned, small business, based in Omaha, Nebraska. Additionally, Mr. Rausch serves as an adjunct professor in the cybersecurity program at Bellevue University.
Mr. Rausch is a Certified Information Security Professional with 25 years experience as a communications and cyber operations officer in the US Air Force with a primary focus on network operations and cyber security. In his most recent role Mr. Rausch held key leadership positions with Air Force Space Command and US Strategic Command where he led cyberspace mission, cryptographic, and information assurance professionals to guide the certification and accreditation of Air Force networks, assess information security, and recommend cyber security policy and technologies for Department of Defense and Air Force terrestrial and space systems. Additionally, Mr. Rausch chaired the Committee on National Security Systems Space Policy Working Group to update national Information Assurance guidance for space systems supporting national security missions.
Mr. Rausch holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from North Dakota State University, and Masters degrees in Computer Science from Southwest Texas State University and Military Operational Art and Science from the Air Command and Staff College.
